The Junior Kangaroos were far too strong for the touring France side, recording a 62-4 win at Wollongong’s WIN Stadium.

Playing as an under-23 side for the first time, the Kangaroos ran in 12 tries, with eight of those coming in the first half.

France, who were fielding an undermanned and inexperienced side, crossed late through Mathieu Jussaume and restricted the Kangaroos to just four second half tries.

Campbell Graham scored three tries for the home side, while Zac Lomax, Ryan Papenhuyzen and Victor Radley all bagged doubles.

Before heading home, France will travel to Jock Colley Field in Parkes to take on the Western Rams first grade representative side on Wednesday, 30 October.
