The Canberra Raiders U20s secured the CRRL Cup minor premiership with a 44-point hammering of the Queanbeyan Blues at Seiffert Oval on Sunday.

The Raiders ran in nine tries in their 50–6 win, with centre Caleb Esera scoring a hat trick.

Halfback Jordan Williams kicked seven goals in the victory and was named the Man of the Match.

The win was Canberra’s sixth of the shortened season and means they will finish the regular season in top spot.

They will play the Gungahlin Bulls in the Grand Final in two weeks time but first they’ll have to face them in the final round of the season at Gungahlin on Saturday, 19 September.

When the two sides met in Round 6, the Bulls handed the Raiders U20s their only loss of the season, running out 34–18 winners.
