David Fifita has been named the captain of the Junior Kangaroos for their clash against France this Friday at WIN Stadium.
Last weekend, the Broncos forward was named in the men’s World Cup 9s Team of the Tournament after starring for Australia.
It was his third representative jersey of 2019 after playing for the Indigenous All Stars in February and playing all three Origin games for Queensland.
Melbourne Storm halfback Brodie Croft was named vice-captain of the side.
Croft captained the side in 2017 and was named man of the match in their 46–22 win over Junior Kiwis.
There are some changes to the side originally named with Brian Kelly and Zac Lomax replacing injured centres Curtis Scott and Brad Parker, while Gehamat Shibasaki replaces Paul Momirovski as 18th man.
