Canterbury Bulldogs’ lock James Clark was named the Hazem El Masri NYC Player of the Year at the club’s awards night on Thursday evening.
An Innisfail junior, Clark joined the Bulldogs’ SG Ball side last year and progressed to their NYC side that season.
In 2017, he averaged 73.2 metres and 27.7 tackles in 21 games.
