The 2015 Schoolboy Cup, known as the GIO Schoolboy Cup, was the 41st staging of Australia’s premier secondary schools competition.

The Southern Conference (ACT, NSW and Victoria) featured 12 teams, split into three pools and playing each other once. Hallam Senior College were admitted into the competition, replacing Holy Cross College Ryde.

The top two sides in each pool were then joined by the top two Queensland sides in the national semi finals.

On 16 September, Townsville’s Kirwan State High became the first north Queensland school to win the competition when they defeated Patrician Brothers’ College Blacktown in the final.
