Northern Pride forward Tom McGrath has been named the 2019 Hastings Deering Colts Player of the Year at tonight’s QRL Awards evening in Brisbane.
McGrath played 15 games for the Pride in 2019, starting 10 at second row and five at lock before being called up to the Intrust Super Cup.
He played two Cup games for the Pride, starting and playing the full 80 minutes in both.
McGrath made his Colts debut for the Pride last season after moving up from the Mal Meninga Cup, playing eight games.
Earlier this week, he re-signed with the Pride for the 2020 season.
