Kirwan State High School have won their second NRL Schoolboy Cup after defeating Westfields Sports High 16-10 at Campbelltown Stadium.

The Bears, who defeated Marsden State High to qualify for the final, trailed 10-0 after 15 minutes.

They fought back with three unanswered tries, including the winner from co-captain and hooker Adrian Trevilyan.

Following the game, Trevilyan was named the Peter Sterling Medallist for Player of the Competition, while Tyreece Woods was named Man of the Match.

Kirwan last won the competition in 2015, when they defeated Patrician Brothers’ College, Blacktown.
