Jacob Sykes has taken out the Russ Bull Best and Fairest award at the Manly Sea Eagles’ awards night.

Sykes made his Jersey Flegg debut for the Sea Eagles in Round 1 after joining the club from the Western Suburbs Magpies’ SG Ball Cup side.

He played in 19 of Manly’s 20 games, starting at lock 12 times and at prop twice.

Previous winners of the award include Jake and Tom Trbojevic, Manase Fainu and Jared Waerea-Hargreaves.

Prop Keith Titmuss, who played 15 games and scored four tries, was named the Players’ Player.

Josh Schuster was a big winner at the under-18 level, taking out the Junior Representative Player of the Year, SG Ball Player of the Year and SG Ball Players’ Player awards.
