The Gold Coast Titans have announced the signing of 2019 Australian Schoolboys five-eighth Toby Sexton on a three-year deal starting in 2020.
The contract adds to a standout season for the Currumbin junior, who helped the Tweed Seagulls to Mal Meninga Cup and National Under-18 titles in May.
Later that month he was named as 18th man for the Queensland under-18 and recently earned Australian Schoolboys selection after impressing at the Under 18 Championships in Canberra.
A student at Palm Beach Currumbin State High, Sexton started in the halves alongside Brisbane’s Tom Dearden in the school’s ARL Schoolboy Cup win last year.
Sexton will join the Titans’ full-time NRL squad when pre-season begins in November.
