Each week in the U20 Report we look at under-20 eligible players from your club who are currently playing in either the Intrust Super Cup (Queensland) or Canterbury Cup (New South Wales).

Brisbane Broncos
Halfback Cory Paix scored a double in Redcliffe’s eight-point win over the Pride. On both tries he showed great support play, finishing off line breaks with two four-pointers. Ethan Bullemor started at second row in the Devils’ loss to Burleigh. He ran for 89 metres and made 16 tackles in 39 minutes.

Queensland under-18 representative Juwan Compain made his Intrust Super Cup debut in Tweed’s four-point loss to PNG. Starting at centre, he ran for 52 metres and made 10 tackles. Ioane Seiuli started on the wing, running for 144 metres, while Treymain Spry started at five-eighth, scoring a try and running for 89 metres.

Tom Gilbert ran for 119 metres and made 30 tackles in Townsville’s win over Ipswich, while winger Elijah Anderson ran for over 100 metres for the second time in the Capras’ draw with Souths Logan.

He added a massive 231 metres, while centre Steven Marsters ran for 143 metres.

Halfback Jock Madden made his Canterbury Cup debut against his former club, kicking for 388 metres and setting up a try, while second rower Alex Seyfarth ran for 87 metres and made 30 tackles without a miss of the interchange.
