The NSWRL has today announced the 2019 New South Wales under-16 side to play the NSW Pasifika under-16 side on Sunday June 9 at Belmore Sports Ground.
The squad was selected following the Harold Matthews Rep Team-NSW Country U16 game played last Friday at Panthers Stadium, which was won by the Harold Matts team.
The 20-man squad features 15 players from the Harold Matthews Cup competition and five from the NSW Country.
Four of the five Country players come from the Northern Rivers Titans’ Andrew Johns Cup team, the other from the Western Rams.
The match against the Pasifika side is being played for the second straight year and in place of the NSW-Queensland under-16 game, which had been played annually since 2008.
