The 2010 National Schoolboy Cup was the 36th staging of Australia’s premier secondary schools competition.

In the Southern Conference (ACT/NSW), the competition moved away from the usual knockout format and instead used a round robin system. 12 schools were selected and split into three pools, playing each other once.

The top side in each pool was then joined by the Queensland champions, Keebra Park State High, in the national semi finals.

On 24 September, Hills Sports High defeated Keebra Park State High in the final, winning their first Schoolboy Cup.

Southern Conference schools: Bass High, Endeavour Sports High, Erindale College, Hills Sports High, Holy Cross College Ryde, Hunter Sports High, Illawarra Sports High, Matraville Sports High, Patrician Brothers’ College Blacktown, St Dominic’s College Penrith, St Gregory’s College Campbelltown, Westfields Sports High.
