The 2008 Schoolboy Cup, known as the Arrive Alive Cup, was the 34th staging of Australia’s premier secondary schools competition.

Tier B featured the regional qualifiers from NSW, Victoria and the ACT in a knockout format with the four remaining schools moving into Tier A. The Queensland Conference featured two pools, South East and North Queensland, with the two top teams each pool moving into Tier A.

Tier A featured the final 16 schools – the top eight NSW/ACT schools, the four Tier B qualifiers and the four Queensland qualifiers.

On 26 September, Palm Beach Currumbin State High defeated Matraville Sports High in the final, winning their second Schoolboy Cup.
