It’s the first Weekend Wrap of 2016! In Round 1 we saw plenty of new faces, along with some upsets, some dominant performances and some great finishes.

Last July, I posted an article about the NYC’s most prolific try scorers, and since then we’ve seen some significant movers up the strike rate list, including a new leader. A few of the competition’s best in 2015 moved into the top 10, while a number of eligible players still have a shot at joining them in 2016.
Cronulla started their title defences in superb fashion in both the SG Ball and Harold Matthews competitions. The under-16 side won by a whopping 82 points while the under-18s won by by 64.
