The National Youth Competition was an under-20 competition administered by the National Rugby League. The competition ran parallel to the NRL, with NYC matches played immediately prior to the NRL games. All 16 NRL clubs fielded a side in the competition, which was known as the Toyota Cup (2008-2012) and the Holden Cup (2013-2017).

On 28 October 2016, the NRL announced the competition would end in 2017, to be replaced by state-based under-20 competitions in 2018.
