The National Schools Championships are a yearly competition run by the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League (ASSRL).

Held annually since 1981, they are the premier annual event in representative schools rugby league. Two events are held each year, the 14-15 years competition, and, the 16-18 years competition.

In 2023, female championships were held for the first time, with their age groups being 15-16 years and 17-18 years.

The Australian Schoolboys and Australian Schoolgirls sides are named at the end of the senior championships.
