The inaugural Under-19 Women’s National Championships kicks off this week in Redcliffe with eight teams competing from across Australia.
The Championships, which have been held annually since 2018, featured only an open-age competition until the introduction of the under-19 tournament this year.
The eight teams – NSWRL City, NSWRL Country, QRL Rubys, QRL Sapphires, Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia – have been split into two pools and will play three games over the opening three days.
The final day will see the two first place sides play in the final with three consolation games also played.
The games will be played as two, 20-minute halves at Redcliffe’s Moreton Daily Stadium.
You can watch all the action live on NRL.com from Thursday, May 20.
