Round 19 of the Hastings Deering Colts is a split round, with three games being played on the weekend of July 27-28, and the final four being played the following weekend.

Norths Devils 48 def. Ipswich Jets 10
Norths moved into sixth spot on the ladder with a dominant 38-point win over Ipswich at Bishop Park. The Devils led 18-4 at half time and then went on to score 30 points in the second half. Winger Blaid Pakura scored a double in his side’s win. The Jets remain winless since Round 5.

Souths Logan Magpies 30 def. Northern Pride 12
Souths Logan snapped a five-game losing streak with a 18-point win over the Pride at Davies Park. The Magpies led 16-6 at half time, before the Pride cut the deficit to four after the break. Two Souths Logan tries in the final 10 minutes proved too much for the Pride, who lost their third straight game. Debutants: Caleb Evans (Souths Logan), Dantoray Lui (Northern Pride).

Mackay Cutters 16 def. Tweed Heads Seagulls 12
Two tries in the final 15 minutes gave Mackay the win over Tweed, as they continue their charge towards the top four. The Seagulls, who sit one point outside the top eight are currently on a four-game losing streak. The Cutters are in fifth spot, level on points with the fourth placed Falcons. Debutants: James Torrens (Tweed Heads).

  1. Micky McGrath has scored 16 this year. I will double check the videos. Think the QRL have recorded the incorrect scorer on a couple of occasions.
