The Queensland Rugby League has today announced a partnership with Hastings Deering for it’s new statewide under-20 competition.
The Hastings Deering Colts competition, which will align with the Intrust Super Cup, will feature 14 clubs and begin on the weekend of March 10-11 next year.
Thirteen Intrust Super Cup sides will field a side in the competition, along with the Western Mustangs, who represent the Toowoomba and Darling Downs regions.
The PNG Hunters, the only side without an under-20 side, are aiming to have a team in the competition in 2019.
The Hastings Deering Colts replaces the abbreviated FOGS U20s Cup competition, which ran from March until May and was won by the Redcliffe Dolphins.
