Player of the Week
Greg Leleisiuao (Parramatta Eels)
It’s hard to go past Eels’ winger Greg Leleisiuao as our Player of the Week after he terrorised the Cowboys’ on Friday night. The recently selected Junior Kiwi was unstoppable, scoring three tries, running for 307 metres, break 14 tackles and making 6 line breaks. Leleisiuao currently leads the competition in run metres per game, with 198.3, and tackle breaks per game, with 11.4.
Rookie of the Week
Jackson Willis (St George Illawarra Dragons)
Dragons’ halfback Jackson Willis was instrumental in his side’s win over Melbourne on Sunday afternoon, as the young Red V outfit moved into second place. The Camden Rams junior ran for 130 metres, scored a hat trick of tries, set up another two and kicked for a whopping 250 metres in the 22-point victory.
