New Zealand’s first World Cup winning captain Nathan Cayless has today been named as the Junior Kiwis coach for 2017.
Cayless, who played 259 first grade games for the Parramatta Eels and 39 Tests for the Kiwis, will take over from previous coach Kelvin Wright, who moves into an assistant role with the team.
The 2017 Junior Kangaroos-Kiwis Test will take place on Friday 5 May in Canberra, as part of a triple header which also includes the Jillaroos-Kiwi Ferns and senior ANZAC Test fixtures.
