The 2016 FOGS Colts Challenge season has come to a close with the Wynnum Manly Seagulls defeating the Easts Tigers 34-12 in the Grand Final.
Wynnum, who finished first in the regular season, were never threatened by the Tigers as they jumped out to a 24-0 half time lead.
Easts brought the margin to 12 thanks to two early second half tries but the Seagulls put their foot on the gas shortly after, running in three more tries to ice the game.
Wynnum’s Aaron Booth was named man of the match, the crafty halfback scoring two tries in the 22-point victory.
