Wynnum Manly have qualified for the FOGS Colts Grand Final, with a big win over Redcliffe on Sunday. The Seagulls lead from the fourth minute onward, their halfback Aaron Booth scoring a hat trick in the victory. Redcliffe now face the Easts Tigers in next weekend’s Grand Final qualifier.

The Tigers moved into that qualifier by defeating Norths in extra time at Dolphin Oval. In a back and forth game, the Devils levelled the scores a few minutes before full time to send the game into golden point. Easts winger Connor Jones scored his second try of the game, to win it for his side and eliminate the Devils.

Easts Tigers 26 (Connor Jones 2, Lachlan Foulds, Frank Fualema, Kyle Jones tries; Matthew Richards 3 goals) def. Norths Devils 22 (Regan Glynn, Kalemb Hart, Jack Mackin, Billy Valu tries; Jack Miers 3 goals) at Dolphin Oval (Golden point).

Wynnum Manly 40 (Aaron Booth 3, Joseph Burchell, Tumoana Halkyard, William Toloi, Cameron Torpy ties; Aaron Booth 3, Brayden Josephs 3 goals) def. Redcliffe 12 (William Partridge, Agassi Stowers tries; Billy Rogers 2 goals) at Dolphin Oval.

The winner of next weekend’s preliminary final will face Wynnum Manly in the Grand Final on September 25th at Suncorp Stadium.
