The NSWRL have announced the New South Wales under-16 side to face Queensland under-16 next week.

Coached by 31-time NSW representative and two-time premiership winner Brad Fittler, the team features five players from the Eels’ national title winning side.

10-time NSW representative and 2004 premiership winner Mark O’Meley is the side’s assistant coach.

New South Wales have lost the last two under-16 Origin encounters and will be looking to right the ship next week.

The NSW under-16 team will play Queensland under-16 on Wednesday, June 1 at ANZ Stadium, kicking off at 5:55pm.
