Melbourne’s Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad has signed a two year contract with the Warriors, joining their NRL squad for 2016.
Nicoll-Klokstad made his NYC debut for the Storm in 2014 and made his international debut for the Cook Islands last weekend, scoring a try.
A City Newton Dragons junior, Nicoll-Klokstad scored five tries against the Broncos in Round 26 of the 2015 season, becoming one of only a few of players to score five tries in an NYC game.
“Charnze is a player we’ve been interested in for a while,” said Vodafone Warriors recruitment and development manager Tony Iro.
“He consistently impressed as an NYC player and now takes the next step up. He gives us an option for a lot of positions and certainly has the potential to become an NRL player.”
